About Homebody Nursing
Nobody does home like Homebody. And we mean that!

After spending years as nurses in skilled facilities, we saw firsthand how patient care was being dictated by people with no medical background—just business degrees and balance sheets. Decisions were made not to maximize comfort and care but to maximize profits. It didn’t sit right with us.

We knew there had to be a better way. So, we created one.

Home care should be accessible, not just a privilege for those who can afford premium rates. But with changes in Medicare, medical assistance, and social security laws, we watched too many families struggle to find affordable, high-quality care that truly put the patient first. That’s why we started Homebody Nursing—to compete with the bigger agencies that have lost touch with trust and affordability. Our goal? To keep people in their homes, where they feel safe, comfortable, and in control of their care. Almost everything done in a skilled facility can be done at home, under a patient’s own PCP and specialists. We’ve found a way to make that happen.

At Homebody Nursing, we believe in care that puts the patient first—always. Because when it comes to home care, nobody does home like Homebody.

The Heart Behind Homebody Nursing

Some people are born to help others. I happen to be one of them. From the time I was a child, I was always the one jumping in to lend a hand, and I figured—why not make a career out of it? Nursing seemed like the perfect fit. After all, people would have to accept my help, right?

Turns out, that’s not how it works.

I entered the healthcare field believing that nurses were the backbone of trusted, compassionate care. But even before COVID, I could see the cracks forming in the system. Then the pandemic hit, and whatever respect was left for nurses seemed to vanish. It became clear—skilled nursing facilities were more about profit than people, and patients were paying the price. They deserved better. We all deserve better.

That’s why I co-founded Homebody Nursing. Because care should be about comfort, peace of mind, and personal connection—not rushing from one patient to the next with barely enough time to meet their basic needs. When I walk into a client’s home, I’m not juggling 20 or 30 other patients. My focus is on them. Their needs. Their well-being. And that undivided attention? It leads to fewer falls, fewer complications, fewer moments of loneliness. It brings real care, real dignity, and real results.

Homebody gives people the freedom to live on their terms. To receive high-quality, affordable care where they feel safe—at home. It also gives me the freedom to be the nurse I’ve always wanted to be: one who shows up, gives her all, and leaves knowing she’s made a difference.

When I step through that door, I’m already winning. And so is my client.

Meet Ayzeem

The Brain behind Homebody Nursing

With a passion for compassionate care and a commitment to making a real difference, Ayzeem brings a wealth of experience and dedication to Homebody Nursing. As a Licensed Practical Nurse specializing in skilled care, he has spent years ensuring that his patients feel safe, respected, and well cared for.

Known for his calm and steady presence, Ayzeem has earned the trust of both residents and colleagues alike. Even in the most challenging situations, his ability to remain composed brings a sense of reassurance to those around him. His patients often say that his kindness and patience create a comforting environment that feels like home.

Originally, Ayzeem pursued a degree in Political Science from Seton Hill University, thinking he would change the world through policy—only to realize that real change starts at the bedside. After starting a family, he decided to shift gears and follow his true calling in healthcare. Now, with years of hands-on experience and a deep dedication to his patients, he's taking the next step by working toward his second degree—this time in nursing (BSN).

Currently serving as an interim Director of Nursing of a personal care facility in Pittsburgh, Ayzeem has worked tirelessly to climb the ranks, only to face the frustrating reality of bureaucratic roadblocks in the healthcare system. Rather than letting that discourage him, it fueled his drive to create something better. That’s how Homebody Nursing was born—a company built on the belief that everyone deserves affordable, personalized care that keeps them safe and comfortable in their own homes.

At Homebody Nursing, Ayzeem and our team are committed to making high-quality care accessible to those who need it most. With his leadership, expertise, and unwavering dedication, we are excited to bring this vision to life—one home at a time.
