About Us
At Homebody Nursing, we believe seniors and adults with disabilities deserve more than just care — they deserve dignity, respect, and the freedom to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Founded in 2024 by Licensed Practical Nurses Vennessa and Ayzeem, Homebody Nursing was built by caregivers who saw firsthand the shortcomings of long-term care facilities and chose to create something better for the Pittsburgh community and surrounding areas.
We are proud to be BBB Accredited with an A-Rating, a reflection of our commitment to transparency, reliability, and compassionate service. Unlike large agencies, our team is carefully hand-selected. Every caregiver goes through not only the required clearances but also a deeper vetting process where we actually look into how they treated their clients in previous roles. That way, families can feel confident knowing their loved one is in trustworthy hands.
What sets us apart is our 2-hour minimum care model — focused, hands-on support that allows us to give clients the attention they deserve without rushing or cutting corners. From personal care and companionship to specialized nursing add-on services, we tailor every plan to meet individual needs.
Currently, Homebody Nursing is in the process of seeking state licensing as an official home health agency, further expanding the level of support and peace of mind we can provide.
At the end of the day, our mission is simple: to keep seniors and families out of nursing homes and in the place they call home — living as independently and joyfully as possible.
